Packing Cubes: How to use them so you can unpack less and vacation more.
How do you use packing cubes? They are a genius invention, and not just for your suitcase. You can organize your life with colorful (machine washable) cubes. In your suitcase, these cubes are like organized drawers that keep your clothes from “moving around’ and thus reduces wrinkles.
I never leave home without my packing cubes. Packing cubes come in different sizes. Here is my summary to help you pack and live life better organized.
Small cube: socks, underwear, bras, baby clothes, diapers. Organize your office supplies, kids’ toys with small pieces. (Legos) They stack perfect in your suitcase, closet, or garage. Organize the kids clothing by color of cube. Great to use in the car for afterschool snacks, handwipes, kleenex.
Medium cube: shirts, pajamas, shorts, or hair dryer and brushes, flat iron, kids clothes, diapers. Organize your crafts, add one to the car with wipes, sanitizer, and ziplocks/small trash bags! They stack perfect in your suitcase and you can put your dirty clothes in them for your return home trip. Organize the kids clothing by color of cube.
Large cube: sweaters and everything else, kids clothes. Organize the garage shelves, and the boat. Use them in the linen closet – organize by sheet sets/size.
